I started shooting film in a high school photography class. Over time, I picked up the camera...and set it back down. After years of hurrying through life without really seeing anything, I started a new relationship with the world. I took a couple courses at the Rhode Island School of Design and began to really notice things (objects). Next, I worked on landscapes (places). I tried stills, landscapes, studio, night photography, light painting, HDR, and 365 projects. You might say I was a fickle photographer. That all changed when I stumbled into a street photography workshop and found a focus. I began to better notice people. All people, those on the street, and those in my life.
This is my journey, in search of my voice, through the lens.
